Fire Chief’s Welcome Message

Welcome to the Ore Bank Pumpkin Center VFD website. Our goal is to provide information about our department and be as transparent as possible. We want to encourage anyone living inside the district of Pumpkin Center to visit the Department with hopes of learning more about the people who serve your community and how we operate. 

We have full time, part time and a volunteer staff that are outstanding firefighters and dedicated to their profession. These members work diligently to always have staffing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This involves us communicating, working together and focusing on our common goal to provide safety and protection. 

Our mission is to protect life and property of those who reside in, do business in, and/or travel through the Ore Bank Pumpkin Center VFD Fire District. We also will assist any and all agencies that request our help as long as it doesn’t jeopardize our community. These services are many which can include fire suppression, fire prevention, emergency medical services and hazardous conditions.
